Moreover, they make sure that no employer or supervisor can retaliate, which is another form of discrimination, against anybody in the workplace.

Through the years the agency has been able to protect, uphold, and fight for the rights of every employee, giving them protection from discriminating people in the workplace. For one, the office of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in California has been accepting complaints from employees left and right. So far, they have been able to help many employees in California to fight workplace discrimination and make sure that responsible parties are held liable for their actions. In its many years of existence, the agency has helped abused, harassed, and discriminated employees get justice for the pain and suffering such illegal acts have caused them and their families. Additionally though, the agency also helps employers better understand employee’s rights by educating them. This way, the companies know and understand these laws better that could get an employer dodging possible violations of anti-discrimination laws.
